Study Widgets

Create Notion study widgets with flashcards, habit trackers, and progress trackers in Blocky.

Study widget types

Create a study widget

  1. Open Dashboard → Create Widget.
  2. Choose Study.
  3. Choose Flashcards, Habit, or Progress.
  4. Pick a variant.
  5. For flashcards, decide whether to add a Notion datasource.
  6. Create the editor session.
  7. Edit data and configuration.
  8. Save and embed.

Flashcards with Notion data

Flashcards can use manual cards or a Notion datasource.

When using Notion, map:

  • Question Field to the Notion text property containing the question.
  • Answer Field to the Notion text property containing the answer.
  • Options Field for the quiz variant if you want multiple-choice options.

Habit and progress options

  • Habit widgets focus on completion state, milestones, heatmaps, button colors, and progress presentation.
  • Progress widgets focus on current value, max value, step size, bar/ring/segment visuals, labels, headers, and buttons.
