Before you start
Email changes require a password-backed account. If you signed up with a social provider and have not set a password, go to the Password section first and set one.
Change your email
- Open Dashboard → Settings → Account.
- Find Change Email.
- Click Send Verification Code for your current email address.
- Check your current email inbox for the OTP code.
- Enter your new email address.
- Enter the Current email OTP.
- Click Request Change.
- Check the new email inbox for the second OTP code.
- Enter the New email OTP.
- Click Verify & Change Email.
After verification, Blocky updates the email address on your account.
Why two codes are required
Blocky verifies both sides of the change: the current email proves you own the existing account, and the new email proves you can receive messages at the replacement address.
Troubleshooting
- If the current email code expires, request a new verification code.
- If the new email code expires, restart the request-change step.
- If you do not see an email, check spam or promotions folders before retrying.
