Change Your Email

Update your Blocky login email with current-email and new-email verification codes.

Before you start

Email changes require a password-backed account. If you signed up with a social provider and have not set a password, go to the Password section first and set one.

Change your email

  1. Open Dashboard → Settings → Account.
  2. Find Change Email.
  3. Click Send Verification Code for your current email address.
  4. Check your current email inbox for the OTP code.
  5. Enter your new email address.
  6. Enter the Current email OTP.
  7. Click Request Change.
  8. Check the new email inbox for the second OTP code.
  9. Enter the New email OTP.
  10. Click Verify & Change Email.

After verification, Blocky updates the email address on your account.

Why two codes are required

Blocky verifies both sides of the change: the current email proves you own the existing account, and the new email proves you can receive messages at the replacement address.

Troubleshooting

  • If the current email code expires, request a new verification code.
  • If the new email code expires, restart the request-change step.
  • If you do not see an email, check spam or promotions folders before retrying.
