What widget codes are
A widget code is a public share code for a widget's style and configuration. Use it when you want another Blocky user to import the same setup without manually copying every color, layout, and variant choice.
Widget codes are for sharing configuration. They are not the same as embed links.
Create a widget code
- Open Dashboard → Widgets.
- Find the widget you want to share.
- Open the widget card menu.
- Select Generate Code.
- Wait for the success toast.
Copy a widget code
- Open Dashboard → Codes.
- Click the code button in the table.
- Blocky copies the code to your clipboard.
Import a widget code
- Open or create an editor session.
- Use the editor's widget-code import control.
- Paste the code.
- Review the preview before saving.
A widget code can change the style and configuration of the current editor session. Review datasource mappings after importing if your widget uses Notion data.
Delete a widget code
- Open Dashboard → Codes.
- Click the delete action for the code.
- Confirm the delete dialog.
Deleting a widget code stops that code from being listed in your dashboard. It does not delete the original widget.
